This install error was solved buy using FTP Layer. (Enableing it under global settings).

Same problem here. Uses 1.5.10, and can´t install the component.

OK... I was trying to reply on this site: www.joomlarefinery.com/forum/jr-artbanne...2-install-error.html

Why i came in this trad I don´t know.

But I cant install the component using the installer in the backend.

It seems to be the same problem so I have had trying to install components for Joomla 1.0.

Are you shure the com is for 1.5.10?
